Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster Size & Format
- Size: A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm / 33.1 in x 46.8 in), portrait orientation.
- Posters must fit within the provided display boards.
Layout & Structure
A clear and well-organized structure is essential. Recommended sections include:
- Title, Authors and Affiliations, Introduction / Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions, Acknowledgments / Funding (optional), Contact Information (email and/or QR code)
Use columns to enhance readability and guide the viewer through your content logically.
Design & Readability
- Title: Bold and easily readable from a distance (recommended ≥ 72 pt).
- Body Text: Minimum 24–28 pt for readability at 1–2 meters.
- Fonts: Use clear, sans-serif fonts (e.g., Arial, Helvetica, Calibri).
- Ensure high contrast between text and background.
- Avoid dense text; aim for visual balance between text, figures, and white space.
- All posters must be written entirely in English.
Figures & Visuals
- Use high-resolution images, graphs, and diagrams.
- All visuals should be clearly labeled and legible.
- Use captions to briefly explain each figure.
Printing & Setup
- Posters must be printed and brought to the conference by the presenter.
- Paper weight should be between 90 and 150 gsm.
- Presenters are responsible for setting up and removing their posters. Posters will be displayed for the entire duration of the conference, so they should be put up on Tuesday before the first morning coffee break and taken down on Thursday after lunch.
- Technical information regarding the display boards: they will be hardboard, and posters should be attached using double-sided adhesive tape.
- Tape and other accessories will be provided by the organizers and will be available on site.
